After 20 years of commercial fishing, I decided to open a Seafood Resturant. Fishing has been my life-long passion, but 6 years ago I fell in love with my beautiful wife. She had two young loving boys to which I became very attached. We then had two boys of our own, and my fishing days became numbered. Because it was very hard for her to hold a job and raise the four boys by herself, I decided to quit the fishing buisness and spend more time with my family. I have always had a passion for fishing and I had a great success selling my fish in the florida keys to restaurants. I learned a great deal from my resaurant customers and wanted to open my own resturant in the Florida Keys, but there, I would be the last man on the totem pole. I have a friend who grew up with me in South Florida, Mark Nugent, and together moved to Knoxville six years ago with the idea of opening a costal fish restaurant.
There are many great restaurants in the area, but not many fish or seafood restaurants. There are two exceptaniol seafood establishments that I admire greatly; Chesapeaks and Bonefish Grill. I took the chance and followed my dream, opening my own seafood restaurant. After one and a half years of being in buisness, Knoxville has embraced me with loving and open arms. I could not live my dream without my wife, my family and friends, plus the wonderful people of Knoxville
I hope to see you all in the near future. Come join us for some freshly prepared seafood from the fabulous Florida Keys.
Always Thanking Knoxville
